RGHA employees an Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist who provide 4.5 days of services.

The team spend as much time with each of the residents as they can to provide high quality assessments to guide and encourage both the residents themselves and the staff who care for them regularly. Therapy and Clinical staff work together and with the input and disclosure of each of our resident's families, the goal is to always promote and achieve as much independence as their health will allow.

The Therapy department use this insight and their expertise to promote the desired independence through group work, Clinical or Leisure and Lifestyle suggestions, and personally tailored exercise programs that encourage good muscle tone.

They are also involved in Mandatory Training, Work Health & Safety and Quality initiatives throughout the Home.
